Drain Clearance Guarantee (The “No Fix, No Fee” Policy)
At Drain Blasters, we aim to provide an honest, reliable, and professional drainage service. In some cases, we advertise a “If we don’t unblock it, we won’t charge you” guarantee. This guarantee is subject to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of the Guarantee
Our no-unblock, no-charge guarantee applies only where a standard drain blockage can be reasonably cleared using professional drainage methods following an initial inspection.
Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply where a blockage cannot be cleared due to circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to:
The presence of foreign objects within the drain (including but not limited to building materials, toys, sanitary products, or other solid obstructions)
Collapsed, damaged, or severely deteriorated drains
Structural defects, misaligned pipework, or long-term root ingress
Drains requiring excavation, relining, or specialist repair rather than standard clearance
Situations where access to the drain is restricted or unsafe
If an inspection reveals that the blockage is caused by a foreign object, collapsed drain, or structural defect, the no-unblock, no-charge guarantee will not apply and payment will be required for inspection and labour.
Inspection & Diagnosis
All work is subject to an initial professional inspection. Where it becomes clear that the issue cannot be resolved through standard drain clearance methods, this will be explained to the customer before any further work is undertaken.
Payment Terms
Where the guarantee does not apply, payment is required for:
Call-out
Inspection
Labour already carried out
Any additional repair or remedial work will be quoted separately and carried out only with customer approval.
Fair Use
This guarantee is offered in good faith and applies to genuine drainage blockages only.
It does not apply where pre-existing structural issues or non-standard obstructions are the primary cause of the problem.
